BMW develops and completes the upgraded 1-Series line in Europe

The 2020 BMW 1-Series with a more spacious interior compartment is the most remarkable thing, and upgrades in technology and engine power will satisfy fans of this model.

Events: BMW cars

The compact BMW 128i is quickly completing the final stages, preparing for a debut. The hot hatch version of the 1-Series hatchback will compete directly with the Honda Civic and other cars in the mainstream segment.

According to BMW, in addition to impressive acceleration, the BMW 128 ti also improves both the suspension and the steering system to bring a true sports car experience to the driver. This is also the first time BMW has applied front-wheel drive to a hot batch model and is the third model to use the Turismo Internazionale suffix.

Specifically, for a true sports experience, the 128ti M Suspension suspension is lower 10mm lower and firmer than the M135i. The 128i's M Sport brakes are from the M135i model, but the weight is 80kg lighter than the M135i xDrive, giving it some edge in performance.

Euro NCAP has scored the maximum safety for the 1-Series, but the only weakness of this model is its ability to protect the user's neck in the event of a collision. Normally, the back of the seat and headrest before the collision will slightly lower back a little to correct the position of the person sitting here to help limit the damage encountered to the neck.

European customers will have the option of two petrol engines and three diesel engines at the time of the car's launch. The standard 116d diesel uses a 1.5L 3-cylinder engine that produces 114 hp and 270 Nm of torque. Next is the 118d version, equipped with a 4-cylinder engine, 2.0L capacity, for a capacity of 147 horsepower and 350Nm of torque.

The 120d xDrive version shares the same 118d engine with a capacity of 187 hp and 400 Nm of torque. 120d xDrive uses 8-speed automatic transmission, respectively 116d and 118d use 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The BMW 128 ti version will be equipped with a 4-cylinder engine block, turbocharged 2.0L capacity, for a capacity of 261 horsepower, with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is also the only option. Thanks to this powerful engine, this compact hot hatch takes just 6.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h.

The BMW 1-Series is shifted from rear-wheel drive to front-wheel drive. The cramped cabin compartment of the previous life that caused many customers to complain has been upgraded to a lot more spacious, adding 19mm of headroom, 33mm of legroom and 13mm for elbow.
