Kia Stinger 2021 launched, equipped only with a V6 engine

The new Kia Stinger launched in the European market does not have an option of a 4-cylinder engine.

After launching its home market in Korea last month, the upgraded Kia Stinger's upgraded high-performance sedan has officially launched to customers in Europe.

In Europe, the Kia Stinger 2021 is only equipped with an upgraded 3.3L V6 T-GDi engine, which removed the previous four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

The reason that the Korean automaker decided to remove the 4-cylinder engine is because the majority of customers in Europe are only interested in the 3.3L V6 engine in the first 3 years on the market. Since its launch in Europe in 2017, about 10,000 Kia Stinger units have been delivered to customers.

The Kia Stinger 2021's 3.3L V6 twin turbocharged engine is increased by 4 hp, reaching 365 hp at 6,000 v / p and a maximum torque of 510 Nm from 1,300-4,500 v / p.

The Stinger is the fastest-accelerating Kia model on sale in Europe when it can complete the 0-100 km / h sprint in 4.9 seconds (with the AWD model), 0.6 seconds faster. compared to its predecessor.

The Kia Stinger 2021 will be offered as standard AWD in the left-hand markets, while in the right-hand markets only rear-wheel drive. Both variants are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of design, the Kia Stinger 2021 is equipped with a new grille, new front / rear lights with LED bulbs, grid-shaped turn indicators and exclusive 19-inch wheels. In addition, the Kia Stinger 2021 is also provided with the new Ascot Green exterior paint.

The cabin of the Stinger 2021 is still similar to the old one, but Kia designers have subtly improved the image and materials to create a more luxurious interior.

The Kia Stinger 2021 in Europe has an interior fitted with black or red Nappa leather seats. Depending on the version, the new Stinger will get new contrast stitching on the dashboard and doors, a center console finished in shiny aluminum and a 64-color interior luminance system.

The highlight of the Stinger 2021 is the 10.25-inch entertainment screen, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility and voice commands. The speedometer cluster has an additional 7 inch screen.
