Suzuki Swift upgraded version launched in Europe

After presenting an upgraded version for the Suzuki Swift 2020 at home, the Japanese automaker has also introduced a facelift version for the Suzuki Swift in the European market.

The changes in appearance on the Suzuki Swift 2021 are not too obvious. The hatchback now has a slightly revised grille with new meshes and refined headlights. Entering the upgraded version of 2021, the front / rear lighting system is equipped with LED technology standard - which was only for the previous SZ5 version.

The whole new version is equipped with an adjustable air-conditioning system, 7-inch Smartlink screen with integrated DAB radio, reverse camera, leather steering wheel, Adaptive cruise control with radar brake assist, doors private rear windows and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Particularly for the SZ-T version, the vehicle has additional lane change warning, rear cross traffic warning, dual radar brake assist, blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition and parking sensor. In the SZ5 version, the car has an automatic air conditioner, smart key, steering wheel navigation and rearview mirror integrated turn indicator light.

The Suzuki Swift 2021 model is equipped with a Dualjet petrol engine block, with a new capacity of 1.2L naturally aspirated, for a capacity of 82 horsepower and a maximum torque of 107 Nm. As a result, the car accelerates from 0-100km / h in 12.2 seconds when combined with a CVT gearbox. Comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox with a 1-wheel drive system. However, customers can also choose the AllGrip 4WD all-wheel drive system for each version.

In addition, the hybrid version also received some notable upgrades. Lithium-ion battery block possesses greater capacity from 3Ah to 10Ah. Consequently, the new version only consumes 4.1l / 100km according to the European WLTP test cycle. Vehicle emissions are at 111g / km CO2.

Entering 2021, Suzuki Swift offers a total of 6 versions including: SZ-L, SZ-T, SZ-T CVT, SZ5, SZ5 CVT and SZ5 AllGrip in the UK. Selling price starts from 19,268 USD equivalent to 446 million for the standard version and the highest is 24,494 USD equivalent to 567 million.
